Overview
TrueProfit Pro (“we,” “our,” or “the Extension”) helps sellers estimate product costs, marketplace fees, fulfillment expenses, profit margins, and return on investment (ROI) across Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS.
This Privacy Policy describes what information the Extension accesses, how it is used, whether it is stored or shared, and the choices available to you. The Extension is intended to handle only information necessary to provide its disclosed profitability-calculation features.
Information handled by the Extension
Depending on the features you use and the final implementation, the Extension may process the following information to calculate profitability:
Confirm your actual data flow: State whether product details are read from marketplace pages, entered manually, retrieved from a service, or all of these. If the Extension accesses page content, identify the specific information and the user-facing feature that requires it.
Information not needed for the core feature: Do not collect browsing history, unrelated page content, passwords, authentication cookies, payment credentials, or other unrelated personal information. Do not request permissions or access beyond what the Extension genuinely needs.
How information is used
Information handled by TrueProfit Pro should be used only for the Extension's disclosed purpose, such as:
- Calculating estimated product costs, marketplace fees, profit, margins, and ROI.
- Comparing estimated fulfillment expenses between Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS.
- Saving products or preferences when you choose to use a save feature.
- Maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting the Extension, but only where the relevant information is necessary for those purposes.
We do not use user data for personalized advertising, sell it to data brokers, or use it to determine creditworthiness. Any use of information must remain consistent with this policy and applicable Chrome Web Store requirements.
Storage and retention
Complete this section to match the implementation: [Explain whether inputs, saved products, settings, and calculation results stay temporarily in memory, are stored locally in the browser, sync through a browser account, or are sent to and stored on your servers.]
Information should be retained only for as long as needed to provide the feature or meet a legitimate legal or security requirement. Describe how users can remove saved information and how server-stored information, if any, can be deleted.
If the Extension stores all relevant information locally and sends none to your servers, say so explicitly—but only after verifying the code and network behavior.
Sharing and third-party services
We do not sell user information. Information should be shared only when necessary to provide the Extension's features, when you direct us to do so, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the Extension and its users from abuse or security threats, subject to applicable requirements.
Third-party services: [List every service that receives user data, such as your backend, analytics, error reporting, authentication, or API providers. Explain what each receives and why. If no third party receives user data, state that only after verifying the Extension's network requests.]
Amazon and Walmart are separate services with their own terms and privacy practices. TrueProfit Pro is not an official Amazon or Walmart product and does not control how those services handle information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and the way the Extension operates. If personal or sensitive user information is transmitted, it must be protected in transit using modern secure transport, and stored securely where applicable. Access to information should be restricted to what is necessary.
No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The Extension should request only the minimum browser permissions needed for its current functionality.
Your choices and privacy rights
- You can stop using the Extension or uninstall it at any time through Chrome's extension controls.
- You can choose whether to enter or save product information, where those options are provided.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, where applicable law provides these rights.
To request help with privacy or deletion, contact us using the address below. If information is stored locally, explain how users can clear it through the Extension or Chrome settings. Applicable rights may vary by location.
Children's privacy
TrueProfit Pro is a business productivity tool for sellers and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action where required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Extension's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide any additional notice or consent required for material changes. Continued use of the Extension is subject to the applicable policy and law.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure
Our use of information received from Google APIs, if any, will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information accessed by the Extension will be used only for the disclosed user-facing functionality and permitted related purposes. It will not be sold or used for personalized advertising.
