Urban View is a Chrome extension that replaces the New Tab page with a focused productivity dashboard. Your privacy is important to us.

Information Collection

Urban View does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal or sensitive user data.

Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome’s storage API only to save user preferences locally on the user’s device, such as:

• Daily focus text
• Todo list items
• Custom shortcuts
• Settings and cached daily quotes

This data never leaves your browser.

Third-Party Services

Urban View may request public content from third-party services:

• Search suggestions (Google Suggest)
• Daily inspirational quotes (ZenQuotes API)

No personal information is shared with these services.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally, Urban View does not maintain servers or databases containing user information.

Children’s Privacy

Urban View does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
